Domestic Bond Collections

We can send physical domestic bonds to the proper paying agent when they have matured or been redeemed prior to maturity by the issuer. We can also collect interest on bearer bond coupons for your bank or your customer.

It will be necessary for you to complete a Collection Agreement, which we will forward to you upon request. If you already have a completed Agreement for Foreign Collection Services it will cover domestic collections as well.

Registered bonds must be submitted with a signature on the bank by the registered owner, along with a W-9 form upon maturity or early redemption.

For bearer bonds which have matured, remove the coupons and submit them separately as detailed below. For bearer bonds which have been redeemed early, keep the coupons attached (reattach if necessary) and submit together to us.

Bearer coupons should be submitted inside a coupon window envelope. While coupons from bonds from the same issuance can be submitted within one envelope, a separate envelope must be used for each individual issue.

Submit your bonds and coupons to us as detailed in the Collection Agreement.
