Investment Sales Officer-Midwest Territory
Basic Function:
To analyze and service investment portfolios for client banks and/or their customers.
Major Duties / Responsibilities:
- Maintain and pursue an active client base for the production efforts of the department.
- Maintain personal and phone contacts with Bank CEO’s/CFO’s and other designate investment personnel to assist in the purchase and sale of fixed income securities.
- Provides pertinent investment information and strategy.
- Maintain familiarity with intricate investment products and their markets.
- Cross sale/market other TIB products and services outside the investment department.
- Promote upcoming TIB workshops, seminars and board presentation sponsored by TIB Securities and other TIB departments
- Perform other duties as associated with the Investment Sales Officer I Function, as assigned by management.
Requirements / Desired Qualifications:
- Regular and punctual attendance is required
- Individual should possess good interpersonal skills.
- Individual should be able to work within a team environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively
- College degree (prefer Business Degree with a focus in finance or marketing) and / or 4 yrs. experience in sales for financial industry (i.e. Invest. Bank, Brokerage Firm)
- Required Securities Licenses (7 or 52, 72, 63)
- Active account base beneficial
- Prior bank experience
