Correspondent Officer II (Lending)- Illinois
Basic Function:
To develop loans/participations and all other banking services business within an assigned territory and/or specifically regions.
Major Duties / Responsibilities:
- Generates new prospects for bank business.
- Perpares loan applications, negotiates and structures loan requests within bank policy.
- Analyzes credit data for presentation to loan committee.
- Monitors existing loan portfolio for proper and adequate grading, collateral documentation, negative financial trends and outdated financial information.
- Develops new business in all bank services within assigned territory and/or banks.
- Performs trouble shooting and problem slving sevices for customers.
- Monitors profitability of customer accounts.
- Perpares necessary reports and budget input data.
- Carries out special projects as assigned.
- Participates in Strategic Planning process for bank direction annually.
- Performs other duties as associated with the Correspondent Officer II function, as assigned by management.
Requirements / Desired Qualifications:
- 3-5 years Commercial Lending experience required
- Regular and punctual attendance required
- Excellent customer service skills required
- Individual should possess good interpersonal skills
- Individual should be able to work within a team environment.
- Individual should have the ability to communicate effectively
- Individual should have the ability to market and sell products effectively
