Merchant Relationship Support Associate
Basic Function:
Acts as a liason between TIB and agent banks and provides customer support to bank customers on the principal merchant program and merchants on the associate merchant program.
Major Duties / Responsibilities:
- Respond to inquiries from agent banks.
- Provide research, reporting and accounting related support to our agent banks and merchant customers.
- Promote a positive relationship between TIB and our customers.
- Provide options and advice to meet the objectives of our customers.
- Identify ways to improve service levels and productivity within the department.
- Assist agent banks and merchants with terminal related issues.
- Data entry and maintenance on FDR system.
- Perform other duties associated with the Merchant Relationship Support Associate function, as assigned by management.
Requirements / Desired Qualifications:
- 1-3 years merchant or bank card experience
- Individual must be able to demonstrate good Customer Service Skills
- Individual should have the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally, and in writing
- Individual should have the ability to handle multiple tasks
- Individual must be able to demonstrate good organizational and time management skills
- Individual should possess good interpersonal skills
- Individual should be able to work well within a team environment
- Regular and punctual attendance is required
- Individual must be PC literate
