TIB Names Springfield Officer Slate

Springfield, IL…TIB-The Independent BankersBank (TIB) announced the hiring of a slate of officers for its Springfield/Midwest Office. TIB has moved quickly to reinforce the infrastructure in Springfield and insure seamless service to customer banks following its purchase of the former Independent Bankers’ Bank Bridge Bank, N. A. (IBBBB).
The following were named officers for Springfield:
- John Turner, Vice President and Midwest Office Manager
- Becky Easton, Assistant Vice President and Project Manager
- Patty McCallum, Assistant Vice President/Customer Service
- Robin Rushing, Assistant Vice President/Operations
- Janet Sheley, Assistant Vice President/Safekeeping
- Carmelita Wheatley, Assistant Vice President/International Services
“It is clear that IBB was staffed by terrific people and we are thrilled to announce these officer elections,” noted TIB President and CEO, Michael O’Rourke. “We look forward to making more announcements in the days to come.”
IBBBB was the resulting institution, following the placement of Independent Bankers’ Bank of Illinois into receivership with the FDIC. TIB purchased IBBBB’s liabilities and certain operational services from the FDIC under a “Clean Purchase and Assumption Agreement”.
